Tower of Babel

The whole world spoke one language. The people moved east and settled in Shinar. There, they decided to build a city and a tower to reach the heavens. They wanted to make a name for their people so that they’d never be scattered. God came to see the city and said that if the people could speak one language and build a city, then nothing would be impossible for them to do. He decided to confuse their language so people could not understand each other, and scatter the people all over the world.

If I could learn any other language it would probably be Russian. I think it’s amazing how rich Russian culture is. For example, Russia has such an impressive history in aspects of ballet, music, architecture, and literature. I think it’d be an incredible experience to be able to interpret a piece of Russian literature in its original form.
