Pygmalion and Galatea

Pygmalion was a Greek sculptor who came to despise women. He saw all the flaws in women and decided not to waste time on women. Instead he worked on sculpting. He created Galatea, a beautiful statue of a woman, out of ivory. Galatea was lovelier and more beautiful than any woman that had ever lived. Pygmalion fell in love with his masterpiece and would bring it gifts, clothing, and jewelry that women would love. He had to touch the ivory to remind himself that Galatea was not alive.

Aphrodite, the goddess of love, took pity on Pygmalion. When Pygmalion went to give a sacrifice to Aphrodite, Aphrodite gave him a sign. When Pygmalion returned home, he embraced Galatea, kissed her, and realized that she had been given life.

If I could bring any character to life it would probably be Ron Weasley. I’d choose Ron because he’s such a genuine character. He would also be the funniest and best best-friend to have! Ron is a loyal best friend and though he’s pretty big wimp, he always confronts his fears in order to help the people he loves. Ron has a lot of bad fortune and isn't always the sharpest tool in the box, but he’s straight forward, trustworthy, and kind-hearted.
