Daphne and the Laurel Wreath

Basically, Apollo was making fun of Cupid and in retaliation, Cupid shot Apollo with a love arrow and shot a really hot nymph named Daphne with an arrow of repulsion. Apollo ended up falling head-over-heels in love with this hot ass nymph. She, on the other hand, was very repulsed by him. He pursued her and literally chased her until she was about to pass out from exhaustion. In her desperation to repel her attacker, Daphne prayed to her dad to save her from Apollo. Her dad then decided to turn her into a laurel bush. MAKES SO MUCH SENSE, RIGHT?? Apollo then found the laurel bush and in order to commemorate his "love" for her he made a wreath out of the laurels and made it so the laurel bush would live forever, symbolizing eternal youth.

I'm in love with EdwaRD CULLEN. Just kidding. I was in seventh grade. I think eternal youth is a dumb idea. Youths are pretty dumb and wanting to be that forever is not cool. *Puts sunglasses on*
