Pygmalion and Galatea

Pygmalion was a Greek sculptor from Cyprus who thought women were flawed creature and he seemed to have no interest in them whatsoever. In place of relationships he had his work and focused on one statue in particular of a human he named "Galatea". Pygmalion worked to improve this statue until it reached perfection, and he even started treating the statue like a living person: talking to it, bringing it gifts and kissing it. The god of love, Aphrodite, took pity on Pygmalion and one day when Pygmalion was sacrificing an animal for the gods there were a few random sparks that shot up. When Pygmalion returned to his house, Galatea had become a real person thanks to Aphrodite. Pygmalion and Galatea got married and had a son.

I honestly have never been one to imagine bringing characters to real life so I honestly don't have a response to this question on a personal level.
