Echo and Narcissus

Echo, a nymph who is admired by Aphrodite for her voice and singing, tricks Hera. In retaliation, Hera curses Echo so that she can only repeat the last words said by someone else. Echo then discovers Narcissus as he is chasing some deer. Narcissus becomes aware of her presence. Echo, having fallen in love with Narcissus, attempts to court him. Of course, she can only repeat the last words that he says. As a result, Narcissus rejects her. In anguish, Echo asks Aphrodite to make her disappear and to remain only as a voice... an echo. Meanwhile, Narcissus takes a break from catching deer by a spring. He stares into the water to discover something that he immediately falls in love with, his reflection. He becomes so entranced by it that he slowly fades away, leaving only a narcissus flower in his place.

Well... not much to really discuss here. It's simply the Greek mythos attempting to explain the presence of echoes as well as how the pale flowers by springs came to be.

If there I had to name a single narcissistic person that has irked me, it would easily be Donald Trump. Aside from his political ideologies, which I also disagree with, he is completely obsessed with himself, to the point of funding a television show where he belittles interns. He always believes that his views regarding any issue are undeniably correct. Even when others prove him to be incorrect, he still insists that his point of view is correct. Lastly, I simply can't stand how he feels that it's necessary that he voices his opinion on even the tiniest parts of political issues so that he can paint even the most well made decisions in a bad light (provided Democrats made them) while praising decisions made by the Republican party even if said decisions are clearly flawed (just so that he can reassure himself that he is a part of the "right" party).
