In the story of Pandora's box, Pandora, the first woman is created
and put on earth by Hephaestus. At this time, Zeus gives her a
mysterious box that he tells her not to open. However, Zeus knew that
she was human, and therefore curious. When Pandora opened the box,
all evil was released. Zeus did not punish her, as he had expected
this and the evil released was punishment enough.
This story
shares many similarities to Genesis 3. In both stories, a woman is
curious and defiant of (a) God. The result of both of these actions
committed was shown to be extremely negative toward the future of all
mankind. The main difference that I find interesting is that Zeus
believes that Pandora's own mistake yielded enough consequences, and
that he did not have to punish her as God did to Eve.

If I could squelch any evil, it would be bad driving. Not only is
it dangerous, irresponsible, and the cause of many deaths, it is also
fucking annoying. Nothing is worse than being put in an unsafe or
simply bothersome situation by one of many drivers who does not
understand the many nuances of traffic laws and driving etiquette.
