Adam and
Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. Abel was in charge of keeping the flocks and
had Cain the agriculture. Cain had offered the Lord fruits and Abel fat
portions from the firstborn of his flock. Once the Lord looked at Abel in favor
Cain became jealous which then led Cain to murder Abel. The Lord confronted
Cain of his treachery and banished him from the land as well as marking him
with a curse of no one who finds him can kill him. The chapter then goes on to
elaborate on Cain’s family as well as stating that Adam and Eve were given
another son, Seth, in place of Abel

My
brother loves telling stories about me when I was little and they mostly
revolve around how he teased me. He would pants me, steal my food, and put the
remote above his head so I couldn’t reach it. Heck, he still steals and food
and puts the remote out of reach. One of his favorites to tell, and one that I
remember, takes place when I was in elementary school. It was Staff
Appreciation Day at UK and my mom brought home a slice of pizza, a bag of chips
some Mountain Dew, and a packet M&Ms for me. I ran off to do something and
when I came back it was all gone. My brother had. Refusing to believe he ate my
food I rummaged through the remnants and triumphantly held up an open packet of
M&Ms. But once I peered inside... Nothing was in it. He even ate the
M&Ms. It was a dark, dark afternoon.
