DING DONG YOU'VE GOT THAT WRONG

Pandora was a hot babe molded out of clay by Hephaestus. I feel like there's a comment I could make here about the implication of this that woman is nothing without man, but whatever. It's Greek mythology, this stuff is sexist as heckie.

All the other gods were like DANG GIRL U FINE so they basically made her irresistibly perfect and all-gifted. Apparently, this perfection did not cover the fact that she would soon wreak havoc and misery upon the entire world. You know. 'Cause that's what women do.

She was then given as a gift (EXTENDED GROANING) to Epimetheus, who was so similarly shocked by her beauty and grace and other stereotypically feminine virtues that he made her his wife. But then, he came to realize that letting a woman (also known as 'destroyer of all that is good') into his life was a big mistake. Apparently, Epimetheus had a box (jar?) that he was told never to open. Being a man, of course, he was able to resist temptation. But Pandora? Oh, silly woman! She just HAD to open this mysterious box/jar/Euclidean-geometry-defying object. That's because women have no self-control whatsoever. In doing so, all of the god's blessings ollied outtie. Thankfully, however, Pandora was able to slam the lid shut and keep hope locked up. At last, a woman does something RIGHT.

Then, Prometheus got chained to a rock and had his liver gnawed at by an eagle. EXCELLENT!!!! *SWEET 80'S GUITAR RIFF*

An evil I'd like to squack (thank u based mr pope) would be the general ignorance/lack of acceptance of a painfully large amount of people. Like, holy crap, you guys. Is it really that hard to appreciate someone even though they might be a member of an ethnic, gender, or sexuality minority? I hate using the word 'tolerate', because that implies that you're being civil towards someone in spite of who they are. Why not enjoy and love one another /because/ of what they are. Just. AUGH I JUST GET REALLY ANGRY AND EMOTIONAL OVER HOW OPPRESSED NEARLY EVERYONE THAT ISN'T A CISGENDERED, WHITE, HETEROSEXUAL MALE IS. THAT IS AN EVIL I WANT TO SQUACK.

I just want everybody to feel safe and loved and have equal opportunities and man now im getting sad this world kinda sucks
