We all know the classic story that we've heard and read oh so many times when we opened up the Bible. In the beginning there was nothing, a complete sea of nothingness and God alone in his Universe, then suddenly he decided to create humanity. In a span of six days he created the Heaven and the Earth, and the land and the sea, and populated that planet with a plethora of animals and plants. God's most prized creation was his two humans: Adam and Eve. He created them in his own image to populate and rule over the other animals on the planet. Then, against God's command, both and Eve took a bite of the forbidden fruit, tempted by the serpent, and were then cast out of the garden of Eden as punishment, and Eve/women was forced to carry the burden of reproduction by childbirth.
I can connect a lot to this story as it says a ton about human nature as a whole. Even though God created Adam and Eve in his own image, basically perfect, they were still unable to avoid the temptation of Satan. This is a truth that holds up in all of our lives. We are all born as innocent little babies to our mothers and fathers, free from the desire to sin or break God's rules. But we do, we all do many times throughout our lives. But this is the dilemma that keeps us going, we keep striving towards that goal to be perfect people and do the right thing. And that holds us in our faith.
