Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

God appeared to Abraham and said to him that he was to destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because they were full of sinners. Abraham did not like this idea, and asks God if he was going to kill both the righteous and sinful people. God understood Abraham's concern, and said he was going to spare the cities if he (God) could find 50 righteous people. Abraham kind of bargained with God and pretty much had God say that he would spare the cities if he found ten righteous people there.

Later that evening, Lot was visited by two angels who were disguised as men. The men of Sodom ordered Lot to give over the angels. Lot offers up his two virgin daughters with whom the men can do whatever they please. (?/?!?!!!!!!??) Anyway, the angels end up blinding the men of Sodom. They then command Lot to take his family and loved ones away from Sodom as God was going to destroy it. God tells them not to look back. Except Lot's wife looks back and is turned into a pillar of salt.

I'm not really sure what to say about unfair punishment other than it's bad and it sucks. I'm gonna go a bit teen angsty and say life's not fair. So...yeah.

(I'M SO SORRY FOR THE LATE BLOG POSTS. I know senioritis is a poor excuse but I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOTTEN INTO ME. I'll definitely try to be more punctual in my posting!!!!)
