Feel the World of Colors Sestina

The world is filled with Color,
Red,
Orange,
Blue,
Purple,
Each with its own feel.

What does each color feel,
What could possibly be felt through a color,
What do you fancy with purple,
What strikes your mind with red,
What flows for blue,
And what pops up for orange?

Basketballs, carrots and Tennessee are orange,
But objects do not feel,
Blue is sad- poor blue,
What about the other colors,
Red is angry- calm down, Red,
Purple is majestic- don’t act so lavishly purple!

Why must purple be THE royal purple,
Why not good-ole- orange,
Why not radiant red,
Why must purple have all the royal feel,
Of all the colors,
What is so special about purple but not blue?

How sad it must feel to be blue,
Notwithstanding the royal feel,
The oceans cover the earth and the skies above are what color,
Blue- of course- not orange,
How great the abundant blue must feel,
To be calm and relaxing, not angry and violent like red.

When you think of violence, anger, and frustration, you think of red,
Think of calm, cool and relaxing and you think of blue,
All other colors each force an individual feel,
Purple has for years been royal purple,
Orange is- well orange is- energetic, excited orange,
Oh! What can be expressed by color!

How wonderfully expressive is color, colors like red,
Colors like orange and blue,
And purple; each, like people, with their own unique feel.

I did not edit this poem at all because I like the way this flows now. The stanzas slightly grow in size. I like how each of the colors develop a personality. For example, purple is the lavish rich one and orange is energetic and wild.
