Pygmalion

There once was a sculptor named Pygmalion who swore off women because of a bad experience of prostitutes. He began a beautiful sculpture of a woman made of ivory, maybe to correct all the flaws women he previously met had, who knows. Anyways, this sculpture, named Galatea, was the most beautiful creation of a woman, live or not. Pygmalion fell in love with his masterpiece and began treating it like a real person, clothing her and bringing gifts. Aphrodite felt pity for Pygmalion, so when he offered a bull at her temple, she made Galatea into a real human. Pygmalion and Galatea then wed, and never forgot to thank Aphrodite for her deed.

If I could bring one character to life I think it would have to be Sherlock Holmes for the greater good of society. He’d be able to solve everything, mystery related at least, and that’d be pretty great. Then Mr. Pope could find out about the Kennedy assassination earlier and we’d actually know what was going on with all that Area 51 jazz. I’ll be honest, I partially picked Sherlock Holmes so I could use a picture of Benedict Cumberbatch because he’s pretty rockin’. It's for the greater good, you know?
