Noah's Ark

God was dissatisfied with the wickedness of humans during Noah's life. But God went to Noah with a covenant. He was to build an ark for his family and for a pair of each animal in order to be safe from God's impending flood. So Noah, being a true follower of God, obeyed, and once inside, The Lord flooded the Earth over 40 Days and 49 Nights. When the water receded. Only Noah, his family, and the animals aboard remained.

An animal that fascinates me is a giraffe. Being a tall person, I'm very impressed about how a giraffe makes use of its long neck to eat off low lying branches. In addition, their instincts must be sharp in order to survive in Sub-Saharan Africa with the wide variety of predators such as  lions lurking about. Fun Fact: At this summer program I went to, the counselor  would give out "Giraffe Awards" for going above and beyond. So, I guess that by that logic, giraffes are symbolic for excellence.
