In the story of Noah's ark, God decides to purge the Earth and
restart, as he was disappointed in humanity as a whole. In order to
do this, he asks Noah to create an ark that would hold two of each
animal so that they could repopulate the world to create a fresh
start. After this is done, forty days and nights of rain come and
cause what honestly was an apocalypse. After it was over, the many
animals left the ark to find a new world that they immediately began
repopulating.

One animal that fascinates me is the hydra. While it is extremely
simple and prehistoric, there is one distinguishing trait of the
hydra. Evidence suggests that hydras do not necessarily have a
lifespan. While some hydras do die, the main body of evidence
suggests that a hydra in the right conditions could live forever.
What this asks is whether other animals may eventually adopt a trait
similar to this. I am unsure whether people living forever would be
positive or negative situation, but it is particularly unlikely that
it will happen naturally
