Noah and the Flood

God saw that as the number of people on earth increased, so did wickedness. God was upset with the amount of evil and sin in the world and decided to wipe out mankind. However, God was pleased with Noah and told him to build an ark for himself and his family to survive the catastrophic flood. God also told Noah to bring two of every creature (male and female) along with him. After they all entered the ark, rain fell on earth for forty days and forty nights. Everything on earth was wiped out. When the earth was finally dry, God told Noah he could come out of the ark. God promised to never wipe out the entire earth again and as a sign of God’s covenant, he put a rainbow in the sky.

I really like raccoons. I’ve realized that whenever somebody hears that I like raccoons, they always feel the need to say “but raccoons are so mean and feisty.” Well, I think raccoons just have big personalities and they’re being unfairly judged. My fascination with raccoons started a couple years ago when I saw some really hilarious videos of raccoons on youtube. It’s sad to admit this but I used to spend hours watching funny raccoon videos (kind of like how some people like watching cat videos). What I learned about raccoons is that they’re super sneaky and also really smart, especially when dealing with food. I always enjoy watching how creative and resourceful raccoons can be when it comes to raiding someone else’s food. Not to mention, raccoons can be really cute too!
