Noah's Ark

Earth had been created for some time now, but God was not happy with what he saw. The world was corrupted and he was saddened by it, so he decided to "wipe off the face of the earth", except for the man he favorited, Noah, and his family. God then warned Noah of what was to come and gave him a list of instructions, including building an arc, taking his family, taking two of each animal on earth, and enough food to last for the humans and the animals. Noah did all that he was told, and it started raining for 40 days and 40 nights. After the flood, the arc floated for 150 days. Noah monitored the progress of the receding water with a raven and a dove, and after waiting and waiting some more, God instructed the family and all the animals to come out of the ark as the earth was dry, and He promised to never wipe out mankind again.

An animal that completely fascinates me is the giraffe. To me, they are just some of the most adorable things on Earth. Everything from their extremely long necks to their spots to their blue tongues, it fascinates me! Whenever I go to the zoo I always make it a point to see the giraffes, or else the trip is a bust.
