So this Jason guy rounds up some buddies called the Argonauts. Then, they all have pretty awesome journeys. All their journeys lead up to their arrival in Colchis, which is where the Golden Fleece is. Jason really wants this golden fleece so he talks with King Atees, who tells Jason he can have the fleece if he completes three tasks. First, Jason must plow a field with a fire breathing ox. Then, he must plant the teeth of a dragon in the field. Finally, he must defeat the dragon that guarded the golden fleece. Medea, the daughter of Atees, helps Jason out so that he can survive these horrific tasks. When Jason finally got the golden fleece he and Medea ran off together.
Love and revenge make for the best type of stories. This may be because we are really horrible people who find revenge entertaining. Or it could be that we are probably pretty good people and it is fun to hear the stories of what we sometimes feel like doing, but know we should not.
